Harpsi-chord at the MDA

The Duruflé Academy of Music’s harpsichord program aims to give students a command of solo literature from the late Renaissance through to the pre-Classical periods, as well as extensive Baroque ensemble experience leading to fluent continuo realization with both singers and instrumentalists. Students also study Baroque performance practice, and organology. Harpsichordists at the Duruflé Academy have the opportunity to perform on restored and newly made instruments throughout the triad.
